Location: San Mateo
Features: Demolish existing Fashion Island shopping center and construct new retail center consisting of six concrete tilt-ups including tenant improvements consisting of approximately 185,000 SF. Access to the new Bridgepointe Center required the construction of new public streets that continued "Fashion Island Boulevard" (later renamed Bridgepointe Drive) through the project site and connected with an existing street on the other side of the project. The improvements included 3 intersections, 2 with traffic light controls, enhanced pavement areas at the intersections to the new shopping center and access to the new commercial/residential project.
