San Francisco 49ers Stadium, Santa Clara: Pre-construction services for a 68,000 seat football stadium in Santa Clara. Services include estimating for both stadium and sitework; systems construct ability analysis, developing design/build criteria, schedule and phasing studies, accessibility research and co-authoring project diversity programs.
Downtown Sunnyvale Town Center, Sunnyvale: 36 acre mixed-use project located in the heart of Silicon Valley in the City of Sunnyvale. It encompasses six street blocks with office buildings, mixed-use residential and retail buildings, cinema complex, hotel, multi-level parking garages all in the same vicinity. Retail tenants include Macy’s and Target as the anchor stores, with over 315,000 SF of office space, 200 residential units, and over 500,000 SF of retail spaces. Proposed hotel will have 200 rooms and the cinema complex will have 13 screens.
University Plaza, Palo Alto: 430,000 SF project consisting of two Class A mixed-use commercial buildings designed to be submitted for Gold LEED certification. The University building will feature four floors of office space totaling 127,800 SF over 12,800 SF of ground floor retail space. The 158,000 SF parking structure will consist of four floors. The Palms building will feature two floors of office space totaling 55,325 SF over 12,140 SF of ground floor retail space. The 62,000 SF parking structure will consist of three floors. This project also features poured-in-place concrete structural system, mix of glass and aluminum curtain walls, and GFRC and stone veneer exterior skin.
Sharks Ice Center, Pleasanton: Design and construction of 150,000 SF 4-rink complex for theSan Jose Sharks. Facility will consist of 16 locker rooms, party rooms, fan bleachers, a restaurant and outdoor patio set in a park like area. Project also features the design and construction of an 8 acre community park directly for the City of Pleasanton. (Currently in design stage)
UCSC Biomedical Sciences Facility, Santa Cruz: 94,700 SF 4-story steel building with one story below grade. Exterior finishes consist of plaster, glass curtain wall, and metal panel while site improvements include sewer, storm water retention, tie-in to campus utilities for mechanical cooling, site concrete, AC paving and pervious paving. Interior improvements feature a basement vivarium, four stories of research lab space, office and meeting space, and the use of active chilled beams for heating and cooling. Devcon is the CM-at-Risk with pre-construction responsibilities including constructability review of design documents, multiple budget iterations validating the University’s ongoing estimates, value engineering, development of Subcontractor Prequalification and Bid documents, and management of the Prequalification and Bid phases. During the construction phase, Devcon will direct 3d BIM coordination, monitor compliance with targeted LEED points to achieve Gold Certification, and manage all construction activities.
New Gilroy Public Library, Gilroy: 54,589 SF new library consisting of a two level poured in place concrete structure with associated interior and site work improvements. Project includes library shelving space, conference rooms, a community room, quiet study rooms and a children’s room. The exterior skin consists primarily of curtainwall and plaster. The project will receive a LEED Gold rating.
Anderson Collection At Stanford University, Stanford:
Pre-construction services on the design and planned construction of a new 30,000 SF art museum to be located adjacent to the existing Cantor Arts Center. The two story building will display 121 modern and contemporary works of art by 86 artists being donated to Stanford by the Anderson family. Construction is expected to start in Fall 2012 and be completed in early 2014.
Stanford Research Computing Facility, Stanford:
Design/build construction of a new 21,000 SF 2-story steel frame building to house Stanford University Stanford School of Medicine, and Stanford Linear Accelerator research computers. With an average load of over 500 watts/SF and cabinets’ loads anticipated to be greater than 20kW/cabinet, this is considered a high density computing facility. The project incorporates leading edge energy conservation features, including 415V power direct to the server cabinets and 100% outside air with all outside air relieved from the space via natural convection (zero fan energy for outside air exhaust). These and other features add up to an industry leading calculated PUE of 1.15.
Google – 1015 Joaquin Exterior Skin & Tenant Improvement Project, Mountain View:
64,000 SF exterior skin remodel and tenant improvement project includes major demolition of exterior and interior of existing space in multiple phases. The first phase includes demolition of existing non-structural interior spaces and complete removal of an existing ductwork level and equipment level. The second phase includes major structural and exterior demolition and remodel of the existing structure and curtain wall. The third phase features a tenant improvement build out of all new office space, complete MEP system upgrade, a new cafe, and 2nd floor mezzanine to house a Tech Talk. The building is to be the most energy efficient building on the Google Mountain View campus. This project will receive LEED Gold rating.
Santa Clara University Admissions & Enrollment Services Building, Santa Clara:
Construction of a new 25,000 SF, 2-story steel-framed building that serves as the new home for undergraduate admissions, university financial services, the bursar, and the registrar. Project features a grand entryway to welcome prospective students and their families, a large presentation room that holds approximately 100 visitors, (9) private meeting rooms, approximately 60 administrative offices and a one stop shop to support current students. The building uniquely combines a California mission style with the latest sustainable design. This project will receive a LEED Gold rating.
3160 Porter Tenant Improvement, Palo Alto:
94,696 SF remodel of an existing 2-story commercial office building with lab space. Project consists of a demolition and remodel of 47,125 SF on the 2nd floor with new additions to include open office space, approximately 32 private offices, 22 conference rooms, and a break area. The 2nd floor features an expansion and upgrade of the gym which includes a yoga and storage room. There are significant updates to the mechanical and plumbing systems, as well as the reuse of existing lighting. This project is a Cal Green Title 24, Tier 1.
French Gourmet, Sparks, NV:
30,000 SF design/build tenant improvement for a new frozen dough manufacturing facility featuring cooler boxes, refrigeration equipment, production area, and office space. This is a two phase project, where cooler boxes and office areas have been turned over and the production area including production line and refrigeration equipment is currently being coordinated with vendors from across the country in America, Italy and France.
Google Quad, Mountain View:
332,000 SF project including complete interior demolition, new office space, complete MEP systems upgrade, a wellness center, a fitness center, and three new cafeterias within five buildings. Project features photovoltaic panels, a solar hot water system, new roof skylights, and an Ice Bear unit to improve energy performance. Exterior sitework includes a volleyball court, bocce court, dog park, expansive lawn, water features, wood sidewalk, and amphitheater style seating. This project will receive a LEED Gold Campus rating and a separate LEED Platinum CI rating for the amenity building.
Lawson Lane East – Buildings A & B, Santa Clara:
306,900 SF design/build campus consisting of two 5-story structural steel buildings. Project features re-design of the exterior skin system to become a combination of glass and precast, as well as extensive site work. This project will receive a LEED Gold rating.
1880 Mission Street, San Francisco:
226,000 SF project featuring 202 apartment units located in the San Francisco Mission District. Project consists of a 6-story building with a mezzanine level, 7,000 SF of retail/storefront space, with amenity space to include a fitness room, tech room, lounge/bar, commercial grade kitchen for resident use, and an exterior courtyard area with an outdoor fireplace, bar and BBQ. Below-grade parking area features a bicycle room with a service station, and custom lockers and racks.
