SOFTWARE DEVELOPER BRIO RELOCATES
TO NEW DEVCON-CONSTRUCTED HEADQUARTERS IN SANTA CLARA
SANTA CLARA -- Software developer BRIO
has occupied its new 140,000 square-foot headquarters, built by
Devcon Construction, on Great America Parkway. Devcon had begun
work on the five-story, single building project in March 2000.
BRIO left its previous location at 3460 W. Bayshore in Palo Alto
and took possession of its new facility in June 2000.
According to Devcon Project Manager
John Kranich, key components of the job included a custom interior
and a data room. "We worked an extremely aggressive, overtime
schedule to complete the project in three months," he said.
Form 4 acted as both the shell and
tenant improvement architect for the project.
Milpitas-based Devcon is the largest
general building contractor based in Silicon Valley, and it maintains
a regional office in Santa Cruz to manage projects along the coast.
With building experience throughout Northern California, Devcon
has constructed industrial parks, commercial centers and landmark
office buildings, in all totaling some 35 million square feet of
shells and interiors.
