This 95,809 SF project consists of two buildings totaling 64 residential units with 3,527 SF of commercial space, and 19,668 SF of underground parking. Units range from studio to 3-bedroom, and are transitional housing for the homeless.
Building 1 is wood frame and consists of three stories with construction over a concrete podium with underground parking. Building 2 is also wood framed and consists of three stories of construction over slab on grade. In additional to residential units, Building 1 includes office space, computer room, and a community room with kitchen. Building 2 features a meeting room and common laundry facilities. This project is Green Point Rated, and includes a PV system. The site includes new underground onsite and offsite utilities, some off site road improvements, bioswales, and a children's play area and basketball court. The project is funded by several sources including HUD and the City of Fremont.
