    This project includes the design/build construction of a new 21,000 SF 2-story steel frame building to house Stanford University Stanford School of Medicine, and Stanford Linear Accelerator research computers. With an average load of over 500 watts/SF and cabinets’ loads anticipated to be greater than 20kW/cabinet, this is considered a high density computing facility. The project incorporates leading edge energy conservation features, including 415V power direct to the server cabinets and 100% outside air with all outside air relieved from the space via natural convection (zero fan energy for outside air exhaust). These and other features add up to an industry leading calculated PUE of 1.15.     This 90,000 SF tenant improvement project includes construction within an occupied building in multiple phases. The first phase included new open office plans on the second and third floors highlighted by “Parachute Lounges” to serve as informal meeting spaces.     Construction and architectural services were provided for these new design build office buildings which consist of two 170,000 SF, 5-story office buildings on a 17 acre site. The buildings are steel structures with curtain wall and GFRC exterior systems which feature a complex site development and extensive landscaping. All major building systems (Arch, Struct, Mech, Elect, Plumbing, Fire Sprinkler, Skin systems) were modeled in 3D and clash detection software was utilized to identify and resolve conflicts. The building roofs are comprised of over 40,000 SF of green roof area, as well as rooftop solar panels to achieve a net zero energy use for the core/shell. The façade consists of curtain wall with bird safe glass, terra cotta panels and fins, and metal paneling. Site improvements feature a communal elevated deck area between the buildings, as well as a new bike path and roadway along Bolivar Drive. The project will receive a LEED Gold rating.     This project includes the design/build of a new 13,365 SF 2-Story classroom building on the campus of St. Mary’s Parish and School. The project consists of wood frame shell structure with cement plaster and brick veneer finish. Interior improvement feature classrooms, lab, library, offices and support spaces. The project is located in downtown Los Gatos with strict parking and noise requirements. Additionally, the project is in the middle of campus and required careful coordination with the school to ensure the safety of students. Due to the phasing required for the demolition of the old library building, the site work for this project was completed in a second phase. Project features a grand entryway to welcome prospective students and their families, a large presentation room that holds approximately 100 visitors, (9) private meeting rooms, approximately 60 administrative offices and a one stop shop to support current students. The building uniquely combines a California mission style with the latest sustainable design.     This new 130,000 SF manufacturing facility in the Bay Area that is broken down in three main areas consists of a 70,000 SF dirty manufacturing area and a packaging/shipping area of approximately 30,000 SF, and an office area of approximately 20,000 SF. The manufacturing area includes approximately 30 tools including Ingot tools, furnaces, saws, PCVD Tools, chemical wet benches etc. The testing, packaging/shipping areas have tools and were built as a Class 10,000 room.     This project features the demolition of a 4-building campus with new construction of 385,000 SF Class A office space. The new space consists of two 6-story post-tension concrete structures with glass curtain wall and GFRC skin. The buildings also feature round concrete columns and upturned beams/caps hidden under a raised access floor system to create a fully flat underside of deck.
