This project consists of a 14,000 SF commercial building designed to compliment the adjacent Ruby Hill Commercial project. Included design features are weathered metal roofing, “green” ICF insulated foam walls overlayed with distressed lath and plaster finish, weathered barn doors and stone veneer. Project also consists of heavy timber trusses, exposed utilities, fully conditioned, four indoor courts and four outdoor courts, full service commercial kitchen to accommodate the court-side bocce diners, bar and private dining. This new 55,000 SF student center consists of an event space, dining room, kitchen and servery, book store, meeting rooms, and a pub. The two-story building, designed by Gensler, has a brick façade to tie in with the style of the campus, plus composite rubber shingles at the roof, exposed wood trusses, numerous skylights, and a curtain wall system at the center lobby area. The project includes extensive site development and landscaping. Scope of work features three warehouses and associated site improvements with Fire Protection, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical (FPME) engineering contracted through Devcon Construction for FPME design-build delivery. Project also includes a 54,000 SF tenant improvement for a Home Depot MDO warehouse. The buildings are connected at the third floor by a pedestrian bridge called the “Highline” walkway. - SGI Crittenden Offsite Improvements
Crittenden Pump Station and Inlet Piping Project: Construction of a storm water pump station and its associated inlet piping. The pump station project consists of a reinforced concrete wet-well, a reinforced masonry building containing three (3) major pumps, two (2) minor pumps, electrical and mechanical works, a detention pond and all discharge piping. The inlet piping project consists of installing 2,000 feet of HDPE pipe. Crittenden Off Site Design Management: Devcon Construction acted as the managing consultant for all off-site design for the Crittenden off-site projects including Crittenden Pump Station, Crittenden Inlet Piping, Crittenden Lane / North Road Improvement Project, and Crittenden Landfill Landscaping Project. Using architectural and engineering consultants, Devcon established a design team for each project and acted as the managing agent in the design process between the consultants, developer, City of Mountain View and other government agencies. Crittenden Lane/North Road Improvement Project: The North Road project includes the construction of a new raised roadway with concrete curbs, underground utilities, fiber-optic conduit bank and site lighting. Also included in the project is the addition of two new traffic lanes to Crittenden Lane including a landscaped median, underground utilities, concrete curbs and sidewalk, site landscaping and irrigation, site lighting, and fiber-optic system. North Access Road And Crittenden Lane Improvement Project: This project includes the construction of a new raised roadway with concrete curbs, underground utilities and site lighting. This project consists of a 88,000 SF tenant improvement on three floors for the new corporate headquarters of Audience, Inc. The project features open offices, executive offices, collaborative break areas, audio labs, listening rooms, a corporate board room and all hands space. The project utilizes vibrant colors and textures to provide an open and lively work environment. Innovative products such as polished concrete floors, interlam wall panels, Maharam digital film and Pulp Studios glass were used in creating the effect. Audience Inc. The gym portion of the project includes training, dance, team locker rooms and therapy rooms with cold/hot plunge pools and an underwater treadmill. The 60’ high theater building includes large 33’x16’ LED lobby video wall and amenities include a 400 seat full production theater, vocal training rooms, orchestra rooms and a scene shop. The project also features a rooftop with full array of solar panels.
