    This project consists of a 33,000 SF tenant improvement to showcase products and serve as the company’s sales center. Project includes detailed coordination and design between the variety of custom audio-visual and integrated systems. Project featured a large video wall with LED floor at the arrival space, a large presentation “workshop area”, a fully-enclosed transformative theatre, LED stair riser, and a variety of interactive, touch-screen displays. In addition to the large presentation and showcase areas, custom conference rooms were built with high-end case work, programmable light, and dual-monitor presentation/video conference capabilities. Project also consisted of an exclusive VIP area featuring a lounge area, complete with a wet bar, private video conference, and a fireplace; private hotel suites complete the high-profile experience center. Structure is a Type II-B sprinkled single story sports arena with a pre-engineered tensile fabric membrane and clad metal panel siding. Seating will be comprised of both fixed and retractable seat back and bench seats. Court lighting via structure suspended Musco lighting. All sports equipment is NBA rated including courtside seating, wood flooring, scoreboards and scorer’s tables, shot clocks and portable backboards.     Devcon provided design and construction services for a new 3,600 SF science classroom building for education and demonstration of sustainable practices. The building and its related site work is phase 1 of the 5 phased master plans. The building will be both the new gateway to the campus and a teaching tool utilizing sustainable materials and means of construction while demonstrating their functions within the building. The design features include 12 foot wide by 10 foot high operable window walls, clerestory windows, skylights, stone veneer and board and batten siding. The roof accommodates photo voltaic solar cells for electrical power generation and vacuum tube solar hot water heating capabilities that also assist the radiant floor heating and cooling system. The existing building, which was once a leather hide manufacturer, is renovated into a performing arts theater. Project features 177 fixed theater seats will a full size raised theater stage. Additions to the existing building include a full size ticket booth, restroom accommodations, lobby and concessions stand. For the artists there is a new green room, full backstage accommodations and a state of the art control booth. The historical building’s exterior is architecturally finished to match the surrounding buildings of the Tannery Center.   • SGI Crittenden Offsite Improvements

    Crittenden Pump Station and Inlet Piping Project: Construction of a storm water pump station and its associated inlet piping. The pump station project consists of a reinforced concrete wet-well, a reinforced masonry building containing three (3) major pumps, two (2) minor pumps, electrical and mechanical works, a detention pond and all discharge piping. The inlet piping project consists of installing 2,000 feet of HDPE pipe. Crittenden Off Site Design Management: Devcon Construction acted as the managing consultant for all off-site design for the Crittenden off-site projects including Crittenden Pump Station, Crittenden Inlet Piping, Crittenden Lane / North Road Improvement Project, and Crittenden Landfill Landscaping Project. Using architectural and engineering consultants, Devcon established a design team for each project and acted as the managing agent in the design process between the consultants, developer, City of Mountain View and other government agencies. Crittenden Lane/North Road Improvement Project: The North Road project includes the construction of a new raised roadway with concrete curbs, underground utilities, fiber-optic conduit bank and site lighting. Also included in the project is the addition of two new traffic lanes to Crittenden Lane including a landscaped median, underground utilities, concrete curbs and sidewalk, site landscaping and irrigation, site lighting, and fiber-optic system. North Access Road And Crittenden Lane Improvement Project: This project includes the construction of a new raised roadway with concrete curbs, underground utilities and site lighting. Also included in the project is the addition of two new traffic lanes to Crittenden Lane including a landscaped median, underground utilities, concrete curbs and sidewalk, site landscaping and irrigation, site lighting and a joint utility trench.
