The McHenry Library Addition project expands and upgrades the McHenry Library located on the University of Santa Cruz campus. Project consists of a new 118,891 SF 5-story poured in place concrete addition to the existing 162,364 SF McHenry Library Building. Scope for this addition includes a complete interior build-out for immediate use upon completion. Additionally, due to the nature of this project, the work also includes modification to the existing foundations on the south and west sides of the existing Library building, modification to existing mechanical rooms in the library, and various site improvements.
