The project features retail on the ground floor, commercial office spaces on 2nd and 3rd floors and two residential apartments on the 4th floor. Project includes vehicle stacking system in garage with car turntable which allows vehicles to exit forward onto Ramona Avenue. The building structure consists of reinforced concrete frame and suspended slabs over mat slab foundation. Other high-end finishes include stone tile floors, hand-painted wall tiles, wood slat ceilings, custom banquettes, and numerous other custom wood elements. Exterior improvements feature an updated patio area with built-in wood benches, a new fountain, cedar perimeter fence, and new Japanese gate structures. The Café was built inside an occupied building and completed successfully on an extremely tight seven week schedule, requiring double- and triple-shifts for the full duration.
