The project also features an “Arktura” undulating metal fin ceiling; this is the first ceiling of this type on the West Coast. All work was performed while the building remained partially occupied. The goal for the project is a LEED Gold certification, through the use of recycled materials, energy-efficient mechanical systems, natural ventilation, natural light, etc. Extensive sitework, including a new Alumni Park area, is included in the scope of work.
