  • Hanover and Page Mill Building

    This project consists of a new 2-story structure totaling approximately 136,000 SF of warm shell and core, which includes a 49,000 SF basement level for parking. Skin consists of a combination of GFRC, metal paneling/cladding, and curtainwall/storefront systems. The project features new sitework throughout, efficient MEP systems and exterior skin elements. The project has zero net energy goals and is a LEED Platinum Award Winner.   • Redwood City Marshall Campus

    This project consists of 51,000 SF interior tenant improvements of floors 1, 4 and 5 of a recently completed 8-story building. The first level consists of a small break area, security/badging, and a large training room. Floors 4 and 5 include office space, conference rooms, full break rooms and features open ceilings throughout most of the space which highlight the structure. High-end finishes include millwork wall paneling and wood ceilings, meeting booth (pods) and fabric ceiling panels. The fourth floor also features a servery, catering kitchen and dining area which serve as “All-hands” space.   • Thermo-Fisher

    This design/build tenant improvement project consists of a 90,000 SF interior conversion of an existing 185,000 SF concrete tilt-up into a plastics manufacturing facility. Project included an overhead rack distribution system, new customized electrical, mechanical, process piping, and condensed dry air systems to support the thermoplastic injection equipment, and storage housed in 65,000 SF of the one-story space. Special facilities include a tool room, a grinding room, and an outside chiller plant, and two large silos to feed raw materials to the machines. Since the tanks were erected on special concrete pads on the gradient of the loading dock incline, a new and catwalk with safety rail was built to accommodate the change in elevation. The remaining 25,000 SF of office space includes a large break room with an exterior patio, a small break room, large conference areas and perimeter offices. One conference room includes a sliding partition and built-in video projection and audio equipment.     160,716 SF project consisting of 140 residential units in a Type VA fully sprinklered building, with associated common areas and on grade parking within a 4-acre site. The building features 3-4 story wood-framed buildings comprised of 66 one-bedroom units, 50 two-bedroom units and 24 three-bedroom units; one of the two-bedroom units is reserved for an on-site manager. Parking includes 177 surface parking spaces, which consists of 15 handicap spaces and 14 EV charging spaces. Site work features new asphalt parking areas, concrete plaza areas, pathways, bioswales and plantings, and relocation of utilities within the existing frontage road. This building is designed as a 100% electric efficient building. This is a two phase project, where cooler boxes and office areas have been turned over and the production area including production line and refrigeration equipment is currently being coordinated with vendors from across the country in America, Italy and France.   • Stanford Northwest Data Center

    This project included a design/build purpose built single story 9,200 SF CMU structure to house critical data processing (data center) and communications equipment (communications hub) and an emergency call center. The data center houses 96 server racks and associated network racks for critical systems. The communications hub houses 32 network racks and additional fiber distribution frames, and is part of a campus wide network of redundant hubs which are designed to remain functional after a major earthquake or similar event. The call center is a back-up facility to be used in the event the main call center is rendered inoperable.   • Tech CU Arena

    Design/Build construction of a 2-rink addition to the existing Solar4America Ice complex. The 20,000 SF addition includes a 4,200 seat AHL stadium rink with adjoining practice rink & commissary building complete with locker rooms, commissary kitchen & concessions, large scale restroom facilities, and a professional locker room. The new stadium rink includes a suite level with (12) private suites, (8) loge suites and a theater box suite for larger groups, while the new practice rink building consists of (12) new public locker rooms and a 2nd floor bar overlooking the ice rink. The new 3-story commissary building features an AHL locker room and team office spaces, commissary kitchen, and ice chiller plant room which supports both new rinks as well as a renovated third existing rink. 20,000 SF of space is designated to future tenants which occupies a portion of the 2nd floor and all of the 3rd floor in the commissary building. Hybrid, pre-engineered metal buildings are utilized for the structures of the new buildings with a standing seam panel roof system and insulated metal panel exteriors. The HVAC system includes dehumidification for the ice rinks and a fully integrated controls system. Project also consists of new infrastructure, site work and storm water treatment. The project consists of a new modular structure with custom exterior façade and interior tenant improvement for the team’s game-day facility. The building features custom casework lockers, lounge, beverage coolers, ice tubs, taping tables, and shower facilities. Exterior scope includes ground improvements, new site fence, and landscaping.
