Project also features use of City produced recycled water for flushing toilets, a water feature, irrigation and for use in the heat exchange process for the HVAC system. Additional features include the use of mechanically controlled louvers within roof stack vents for outside air ventilation and heat dumping, individual lighting controls and operable windows for all offices, daylight dimming sensors on all lights, integration of detention basins, bioswales, permeable pavement and native plants for minimizing irrigation needs and eliminating storm water runoff in the storm system. An interior and exterior signage program was created for educating visitors on the green aspects of the project. The coach’s rooms offer private offices, cherry lockers, as well as showers and restrooms.
