At 63,500 SF, Phase 1A features new classrooms, science labs and black box theater, while Phase 1B, consisting of 62,000 SF, includes a school cafeteria with full kitchen and upper level faculty dining with outside terrace.     This design/build project consists of approximately 120,000 SF four-story wood framed dormitory over concrete podium and 42,000 SF single-level of below grade parking garage. Project includes 184 student units, six staff apartments, offices, common lounges/break rooms, 2-story lounges and study rooms, and multi-purpose room that is almost two stories tall and features an operable partition wall, audio-visual system, and a service kitchen to host large events. The project also consists of a new air-cooled chiller plant, boiler plant, and 4-pipe fan coil units to provide heating and cooling to all student units and apartments.   • San Jose Barracudas Locker Room

    This 6,500 SF design/build project consists of a new two-story building located between rinks 2, 3, and 4 on the east side of the existing facility. The structural system consists of pre-engineered steel and is seismically separated from the existing structure. The new area features locker and training facilities to house the American Hockey League relocating from the East Coast, as well as coach’s offices, fitness center, lockers, showers, skate shop and stick shop. The new area offers restricted access and is not open to the public. Sitework and landscaping is limited to the immediate surrounding area due to impact of the new building. Stucco finish with stone veneer and metal roofing. Project also includes site improvements for +/- 5 acres, site preparation for two (2) separate residential condo complexes, and a 10,000 sf plaza / courtyard between the office buildings.     This project features a 1,200 SF home team clubhouse with 25 open front stadium style lockers, a 2,600 SF soft toss area, and a 3,500 SF covered hitting center with fully retractable nets. The entire field is turf construction, allowing for year round usage and the field is set off by its 20’ tall outfield fence covered by a full height windscreen, characterizing the field as a true arena. Continuing the impressive vertical feel, the bleacher seating is located on the roof decks of both dugouts, providing great sight lines of the action. Stadium style seat back seating behind home plate provide an incredible view as the seats are actually closer to the plate than the mound.
